The INDEX ABC production turning machine produces simple
automatic turned parts just as well as complex CNC turned
parts. Due to the Y-axis of the upper turret, it can be used in
almost any situation.
The INDEX ABC offers great flexibility and delivers top quality
as economically as possible.
The technical equipment is designed to meet your needs. Up
to 19 tool mounts are available, allowing you to completely
produce your workpieces on one machine.
The INDEX ABC SpeedLine (also known as the INDEX ABC) is a high-dynamic CNC production turning machine designed for precision machining of complex parts from bars and chucked workpieces.
Main Spindle & Capacity
• Spindle Clearance / Bar Capacity: Up to 65 mm (classic and older legacy versions feature 42 mm capacity)
• Max Speed: 6,000 RPM
• Max Power: 20 kW – 27 kW (depending on duty cycle, up to 29 kW peak)
• Max Torque: 105 Nm – 145 Nm
• Synchronized Sub-Spindle / Pick-off Spindle: Up to 4,500 RPM with collet or chuck mounting and remnant handling.
Tool Turrets & Stations
• Upper Turret (Turret 1): 8 stations (7 live with tool drive, VDI25 DIN69880 W-serration)
• Lower Turret (Turret 2): 6 stations (dovetail mountings / parallel shank)
• Back-Working / Rear-End Drilling Unit: Up to 5 rear-end machining stations (including live tool options)
• Y-Axis Functionality: Available for off-center drilling and surface milling
• Optional Features: Polygon turning unit (UNIMAG4 interface), parts conveyor, and high-pressure coolant pump.
